These are the days that should have killed me.

Time keeps running and I’m still here.
Going nowhere in the name of hope.
I hold my breath, doing my best in the darkest hours.
Another night passed away, nothing new.
I’m still trapped in the same place.
Wired and chained all the same.
I’ve watched my friends lose and sink.
Leave the pages that haven’t done yet.
Surrender and turning back to follow the sheep is not the answers.
I believe another sunrise will come, just a matter of time.
But if we find last chance buried under a pile of lies,
let me take my last day to see the last sunset and waiting for final goodbye.
Kill the light, we’ll sleep here forever.
